The operator of Sichive (the "App") handles your personal information with care and complies with applicable law.
1. Information we collect
- Email address (account registration and management)
- Username and display name (profile, visible to other users)
- Profile photo (optional, visible to other users)
- Photos you take and upload to the App (item images)
- Memos and category information you add to items
- Follow relationships, blocks, and reports
- Purchase and subscription records (processed through Apple or Google)
- Device and advertising identifiers (for advertising services)
- App usage records and access times
2. Why we collect it
- To identify members and manage accounts
- To store item photos and provide the canvas service
- To remove photo backgrounds automatically
- To provide social features such as public profiles and following
- To handle reports of inappropriate content and protect users
- To process subscription and token payments
- To serve rewarded advertisements
- To improve the service and respond to enquiries
3. Information visible to other users
The App includes social features. Your username, display name, profile photo, and the item images you register may be visible to other users.
You can switch your account to private in the App's settings. Items on a private account are visible only to followers you have approved. Memos you add to items are never shown to other users.
4. Retention
When you delete your account, your personal information is destroyed immediately, except where law requires it to be retained, in which case it is kept for the required period.
Reports may be retained for a limited period after they are resolved, in order to protect users and handle disputes.
5. Third parties
We do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties. We do entrust processing to the following service providers in order to operate the App.
- Apple Inc. (payment processing, App Store services)
- Google LLC (payment processing, Google Play services, AdMob advertising)
- Supabase Inc. (database and storage infrastructure)
- Replicate, Inc. (photo background removal)
- RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription status management)
- Resend (verification email delivery)
Photos you take are sent to Replicate, Inc. for background removal.
6. Your rights
You can view, correct, and delete your personal information at any time, and you can delete your account directly from within the App.
7. Security
We apply technical and administrative safeguards including restricted access permissions, encrypted storage, and data access policies.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
